At least we're honest in the Hub. Only Chicago is more honest. Boston finished second in the 2011 Honest City experiment. Honest Tea set up an unmanned pop-up store at the Prudential Center to see if Bostonians would simply leave $1 to pay for each bottle of tea. A robust 97% of us paid. In 2010, Boston was 93% honest. Vinny apparently quit the "Jersey Shore" and The Situation might be next. Is the Jersey crew closing in on the final moments of their 15 minutes of fame? Just in case the unthinkable is true, one of the show's Executive Producers is officially looking to cast a Boston version of the show. Working under the title "The Real Beantown," the show plans to shoot in Southie and wants only the "proudest Boston natives" to apply for a spot on the show. Producers want to cast "tough-talkin', hard-drinkin'" Bostonians to "live it up in the heart of Southie." Anyone over 21 can apply. Two of Massachusetts more visible Mayors, Setti Warren of Newton and Boston's Tom Menino, both oppose cuts in federal aid to cities and towns in President Obama's budget that was released today. The Tucson shooting that took the life of 9-year-old Christina Taylor Green has touched people around the world, even people in the Bay State. According to Channel 5, Green's death saved the life of a girl in Boston through an organ donation. Rev. Public transportation is being hit hard by today's "blizzard-like conditions." Amtrak shutdown all service between Boston and New York at 5 p.m. The Downeaster from Portland, Maine and Boston was also canceled. WBZ interviewed MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo, who said all commuter boat service was delayed until 11 a.m. He also said the MBTA is doing what it can to have trains ready for the Monday morning commute. In Rhode Island, officials feared the storm could be too severe for snow-removal equipment. As of 9 p.m., 50,000 people were without power. A cracked windshield forced a United Airlines flight from Boston to Chicago to make an unscheduled landing in Buffalo this morning. Flight 881 carried 176 passengers and landed without incident at at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.     JetBlue keeps expanding destinations from Logan Airport in Boston. Beginning today, bookings are available to Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands from Boston, and New York. Flights operating seasonally on Saturdays will take effect on February 19. The introductory fares begin at $119. This is the 39th destination offered by JetBlue from Boston. In September, service between Boston and Phoenix began. In May, JetBlue will fly from Boston to Newark. [Boston Globe]
