Boston Blotter: Deaths in Dorchester, Mugging in Central Square

Blotter-Body-Outline.jpg -- Two days of bloodshed rocked Dorchester. A man was shot and killed Monday night on Glenarm Street, and two people were shot last night on Norwell Street. One of the victims, a woman, died of her wounds, and the second was taken to Boston Medical Center with life threatening injuries. Police have released little information about the crimes, which they have not suggested are linked, and no arrests have been made. [BPDNews, BPDNews]

-- A 32-year-old Cambridge woman says that she was robbed at knifepoint, thrown to the ground, and kicked by an unknown assailant while walking on Western Avenue near Green Street in Central Square early last Tuesday. [Cambridge Chronicle]

-- Boston cops arrested a man downtown Monday morning on charges that he held up a victim at gunpoint. [BPDNews]

All charges alleged until proven under law.
